Cinnamon-Cardamom-Clove · White Pepper Edge — John's family heritage, baked into fall.
Nolet-Spiced Apple Galette
Ingredients
- 1 sheet all-butter pie dough, chilled
- 3-4 baking apples, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp Yes We Can! Nolet blend
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten (egg wash)
- 2 Tbsp turbinado sugar, for finishing
- Warmed honey, for drizzling
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Roll dough into a rough 12-inch circle on parchment.
- Toss apple slices with granulated sugar, Nolet blend, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
- Arrange apples in the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold the border up and over, pleating as you go.
- Brush the crust with egg wash. Sprinkle turbinado sugar over crust and apples.
- Bake 35-40 minutes until the crust is deep golden and apples are bubbling.
- Cool 10 minutes. Drizzle with warm honey before serving.
Hostess Tip: A deliberate nod to the Fireside honey pairing — Nolet in the apples, Nolet-warmed honey on top.
