The full Seacoast clambake, made on a stovetop.
Gary's Clambake-in-a-Pot
Ingredients
- 2 lb littleneck clams, scrubbed
- 1 lb mussels, scrubbed
- 2 lobster tails (optional)
- 1 lb small red potatoes
- 2 ears corn, halved
- 1 lb kielbasa or linguica, sliced
- 2 Tbsp Yes We Can! Gary's Fresh Catch, divided
- 1 cup white wine or water
- 4 Tbsp butter
- Lemon wedges and parsley, to finish
Directions
- Layer potatoes, corn, and sausage in a large stockpot with the wine and 1 Tbsp Gary's Fresh Catch. Cover. Steam 8 min.
- Add clams and mussels. Cover. Steam 5 min until shells open.
- Add lobster tails if using. Cover. Cook 5 min until pink and curled.
- Discard any unopened clams. Melt butter with remaining Gary's Fresh Catch for drawn butter — serve at the table.
- Plate everything family-style. Lemon wedges and parsley to finish.
Hostess Tip: Seasons everything at once. The pot is the centerpiece — serve straight from it.
